The power and ease of top-down trade identification becomes almost a fun exercise using CUE systems.
Here is a live example from the Indian market (which is in my daytime time zone). The exact same tools and techniques can be used in all global markets including the USA market.
In real-time, using CUE Edge I saw Consumer Discretionary was the second weakest sector. The weakest one was Energy. I decided not to focus on Energy stocks as they may be more volatile and susceptible to sudden changes owing to messages coming from/on OPEC etc. Consumer Discretionary sector is decelerating too - with Pace in the bottom 20%.
With one click, I drilled down into the Consumer Discretionary sector's industries and found Consumer Electronics industry to be among the bottom 20% in Score.
I used CUE Vital to find find weak fundamental Consumer Electronics stocks and found this one, $DIXO.NS $DIXON (India). It is overvalued. 100% of peers are down today. Funds are not accumulating.
Lastly, I looked up the technical weekly-daily At A Glance layout using CUE Global. Weekly Backdrop is bearish. If the daily candle Flow color turns bearish (magenta), it may confirm a Flow short setup.
With the top-down analysis done in a matter of minutes, next step is to wait for the Flow setup confirmation and get ready with position sizing and strategy (which instrument to use for shorting; stocks, futures, options?).
This top-down analysis is extremely powerful not only to look for potential trades. But also to avoid looking into stocks where all the 360 dimensions are not alinged. You could equally effectively and easily apply these tools and techniques to the USA or other markets.
