Here is the known reason for the message:
Every MetaStock Xenith user has a limit on the number of "items" one can access simultaneously across all services. All services mean CUE DIVES, CUE Global real-time MetaStock charts, CUE Global real-time scans, and the Refinitiv Xenith program itself (if that is open and loaded with real-time data items).
When you access many symbols with multiple data items on each, then this message may appear. That is due to the user limit at Refinitiv (MetaStock Xenith) level. And not due to any limitation at the CUE DIVES or CUE Global & Finder program level.
How to avoid the message?
To avoid the error, you may limit the number of simultaneous symbols look up. For example, run the CUE Edge in real-time with a 5-min data refresh frequency. And run CUE Vital, Index, or Season only when you need them.
Also, avoid loading too many symbols and columns in MetaStock Xenith (in the Monitor application, for example).
If you do that, it is unlikely that you will exceed the Refinitiv item limit.
If you still keep getting the message, you may restart your computer, then open and use one program (CUE Edge/Vital/Index, EIKON, etc.) at a time and see when the message appears.
That will help you decide how to run the programs together and how many symbols to load simultaneously.
